A sadness for me in these street cats! As if waiting for miracles! Lovely photo!

Nothing more ferocious than a guard cat.

James...You made my night with this one. As I looked at it I thought to myself....”This looks just like Florence with the cats standing guard.” Then I saw Florence, Italy. I adored the day we spent in Florence. Went to the coolest handmade paper store and ate heavenly food. Love your picture and it is especially nice in the black and white. genie

Ferocious indeed and awfully good looking. Like the whole that you captured there, James. Bravo.

Neat shot, James!

I think they're just about to leap into the basket and snuggle down!

Wonderful shot!

Aha, what would the street be without them. It would lose its character and purpose for, to be patted by feline paws is to be given a purpose in life.

An evocative picture no less. Very nice.

What an interesting composition James! I like how you lined up the bicycle and the cats.
It seems one of the guardians is interested in something else! :)

A very moody shot. For some reason the remind of lions guarding the Colosseum.

Love the clarity of the cats compared to the rest of the image. And the one is looking right at you! The other seems distracted from his modeling job. Makes me wonder what caught his (her?) rapt attention...

Purrfect! You'd better not touch that bike.

They do look rather intimidating! :) Nice shot!

lol, that shot brought a smile to my face. :)

Nice photo James! The one in the background looks pretty serious!

Leora said...

Delightful! Love how the focus is on the cats and not the bike, but the bike is still part of the shot.

I love this shot - great use of dof.

I like this shot!!! Perfect in B&W!

Love the clever use of differential focus. Almost looks like the same cat, seen twice!
